Basecamp Mountain experiences with a mountain hiking guide

Ever since I was a youngster I have been a passionate mountaineer. Especially hut tours, high alpine tours and trail running. Later I supplemented these experiences with knowledge and experience that I gained in the Marine Corps and recently I became a certified hiking guide in Austria.

I would love to take you into our backyard (Otztal Alps) or a bit further to Sud Tirol or the Stubai or Zillertal. I organize and guide the tour and provide useful information about nature, weather, map reading and much more.

The perfect location of our Basecamp offers endless possibilities, all within a short travel time.

In the high seasons (children's holidays) I go on the road with Basecamp guests. Outside the high seasons I offer various tours. For example, a week-long hut tour around the Ortler (highest mountain in Sud Tyrol) or a week in Basecamp with various day trips to the most beautiful places in the Kauner- and Oberinntal.

I would also be happy to help you think about any great ideas you may have and to help you make them concrete.

Day trips

In both summer and winter I will take you into the mountains. Day trips can be booked for Basecamp guests and anyone staying in the area. It is also possible to extend day trips with 1 or more overnight stays in a hut.

Summer Top Days are for example;

Roter Schrofen 2600 hm, with a view of the Wildspitze and Zugspitze, directly climbable from the house. We end the day on a terrace with a view of the route and then take the lift back down.

Glockturm 3355 hm, fantastic route in high alpine terrain with associated views of Italy, Switzerland and the highest peaks of Tyrol.

Hohe Riffler 3166 hm, highest point of the Verwall mountain range. Since this mountain is quite isolated you really feel like you are on the roof of the region. Phenomenal view of the Silvretta and Zugspitze.

Furgler 3004 hm, high above Serfaus, with beautiful views of the Silvretta, Switzerland and Italy.

By snowshoe we are able to reach a complete winter wonderland far away from the crowds.

Prices include the mentioned overnight stays. Costs for any lift tickets, transport, materials and non-mentioned consumptions are exclusive of the mentioned prices.
